Tron achieved a successful turnaround against EOS after the daily transaction volume of Tron’s Dapps exceeded that of EOS, one of the most well-funded blockchain networks, revealed Tron’s weekly Dapp published on March 11.

According to DappReview, the daily transaction volume reached 71.68 million RMB ($10.72 million).

Tron officially launched Odyssey 3.5 in which protocols such as TIP12, TIP16, and TIP17 were implemented. The new upgrade has been codenamed Qinghai Consensus.

The report further revealed that Tron plans to keep different types of nodes – Super Representative (SR) nodes, exchange nodes, and API nodes – “in close contact for version 3.5.”

Tron and stablecoin Tether are collaborating on the issuance of USDT tokens. The cooperation between the blockchain protocol and the stablecoin is another important milestone in the development of both platforms and further increases the potential of decentralized finance.

The two entities estimate that the stablecoin will be officially launched on Tron’s platform in early Q2.

Another decentralized exchange built on top of Tron’s blockchain protocol was officially launched by Hydro Protocol, providing users with a viable option with safe and transparent liquidity.

Tron also took the time to show its “social and human” side after launching the Ladies’ Day Campaign encouraging everyone to use blockchain technology to confess love to their loved ones.

Tron’s native token, TRX, has been listed on AnyBit, a digital asset trading platform. The token was also listed on 898 OTC.

Tron’s leader, Justin Sun, now has more than 900,000 followers on the social media platform Twitter.

The social media platform is used by Sun to engage with the Tron community and make announcements. More members are encouraged to follow the blockchain protocol on Twitter.

One of the best decisions made by Sun is the acquisition of BitTorrent, a peer-to-peer file sharing protocol that has proven to be an important part of Tron’s ecosystem.

BitTorrent has gone on to become one of the biggest blockchain protocols mainly due to the already existing large user base.

BitTorrent had a successful initial coin offering in which it raised around $7 million in seconds through Binance Launchpad.

BitTorrent’s native token, BTT, is now listed on almost three dozen exchanges and has the potential to be a leading cryptocurrency.

Tron initiated the second BTT airdrop on March 11 in order to promote the adoption of BTT.

The airdrop will see TRX holders rewarded with up to 990 million BTT tokens and recipients may need to wait up to three days before the BTT tokens arrive in their wallets.

“BitTorrent plans to officially launch three new incentive programs for BitTorrent & µTorrent users, partners, and ecosystems,” said the report about BitTorrent’s future plans.
