Coinbase Launches New Services to Educate Users About Cryptocurrencies

Coinbase has launched a new set of services aimed at educating users about virtual currencies. These new suite of features will help individuals and investors understand, explore and buy their first cryptocurrency.

The information has been released on September 27 by Dan Romero, Vice President and GM of Coinbase Consumer in a blog post.

These updates include Coinbase Bundle, Coinbase Learn and Informational Asset Pages.

Coinbase Bundle is a selection of the five cryptocurrencies that Coinbase lists that can be bought for as little as $25 dollars. Customers choose how much crypto they want to own using the market cap at the time of purchase.

In this way, Coinbase diversifies users’ portfolios and allows the user to buy several virtual currencies in just a few taps. The cryptocurrencies will be displayed later on the wallet the user has and will be able to sell, buy or receive more virtual currencies. This service will be available for users located in the United States and Europe.

The next service released by the company is Coinbase Asset Pages. This is a list of the top 50 cryptocurrencies according to their market capitalization. At the moment, Coinbase does not offer the possibility to buy all of them, but in the future, it can start to add new tokens to its platform.

Finally, the last implementation is known as Coinbase Learn. Learning about cryptocurrencies can be somehow difficult. It is not clear where to go and what to read or hear. But with Coinbase Learn there is now a simple way to understand the fundamental principles behind blockchain technology and the most important virtual currencies.

These new tools will help new users to have an easy experience the first time they have contact with virtual currencies. If cryptocurrencies expand all over the world, users should have reliable sources of information and a platform that allows them to have exposure to the most exciting projects in the market.

Earlier this week, the company decided to launch a new process for listing assets. This decision has been taken in order to add more virtual currencies in the near future. At the moment, Coinbase is listing Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ethereum (ETH), Ethereum Classic (ETC) and Litecoin (LTC).
