CEO Digital Currency Group: биткоин “достиг годового дна”

Барри Сильберт, основатель и глава венчурной фирмы Digital Currency Group, выразил оптимизм по отношению к биткоину как к инвестиционной возможности, сообщает CNBC.

В ходе Delivering Alpha Conference Сильберт заявил, что “годовое дно, вероятно, было достигнуто”, и что он “вложил некоторые средства в биткоин на прошлой неделе”.

“Данный класс активов никуда не исчезнет. Я на 100% уверен, что децентрализованная, не-фиатная форма денег никуда не исчезнет”

Джереми Аллей, CEO криптовалютного стартапа Circle, финансируемого Goldman Sachs и Baidu, также выступал на конференции. По его словам, блокчейн станет базисом для новых технологических инноваций.

Кен Гриффин, основатель и глава хедж-фонда Citadel, высказался о крупнейшей криптовалюте в более скептичном тоне. Говоря в ходе той же конференции о биткоине, он заявил, что до сих пор не испытывает уверенности по отношению к нему. По его мнению, молодое поколение “должно заниматься чем-то более продуктивным, чем инвестированием в цифровые валюты”.

Сооснователь Avenue Capital Group, Марк Ласри, также разделил “бычий” настрой Сильберта. Согласно его прогнозу, курс BTC достигнет $40 000.
