The Complete Upgrade of TRON MainNet and Launch Of Its Virtual Machine Full Version Slated For August 30th

Tron TRX to complete the upgrade of its MainNet and the launch of its final version of Virtual machine TVM soon. The launch of the final version of its virtual machine which its beta version had been launched in June 2018 and the upgrade of MainNet will aid the efficient productivity of the Tron platform. The details of this are as revealed by Justin Sun in an open letter to the crypto community as well as an interview with Crypto Lark.

The MainNet Upgrade and The Full Version of Virtual Machine

Justin Sun, the CEO of Tron reveals to his community of the plans to upgrade the Tron MainNet as well as the launch of the final version of its virtual machine on the 30th of August. The plan was stated in an open letter he wrote to the community after the launching of the beta version of the Tron Virtual Machine on June 25.

Justin stated in the open letter that the Tron MainNet was activated on the 25th of June along the launch of the beta version of the TVM. He further noted that as of 30th July, “the block height reached 1,009,319, the peak number of single day transaction marked 49,518, global nodes reached 367, and a total number of account address was 75,206.” On the upgrade and the launch Justin noted that “On August 30th SGT, TRON will complete its MainNet upgrade and launch the official version of TVM.”

While his opinion was sought in an interview with the crypto lark on the progress of the launch, Justin states that,

“Actually…we are ready for the launch already. But we are doing a lot of the tests…like the pressure test…volume test…to make sure it works very well when we launch. Our Mainnet was already launched on the 25th of June, but right now we are building the Virtual Machine on the Mainnet. The Virtual Machine is [where developers] can develop very interesting Decentralized Applications, DApps, on the network.”

The Importance Of the MainNet and The Virtual Machine

The final upgrade of the MainNet and the launch of the full version of the virtual machine that is to take place on the 30th of August signify the best for the cryptocurrency community. Justin Sun has been on record saying he thinks TRX blockchain will be 200x faster than Ethereum (ETH) blockchain as well – only time will tell as the date nears.

This is excellent news for the community as this upgrade can make the platform much more scalable than it now. It’s only a matter of time to start seeing valuable platforms build theirs upon the Tron’s protocol which will in time drive the prices of their token up.
