Nearly Everyone Flocks to Ethereum to Issue Crypto Tokens

When it comes to issuing new tokens on any blockchain, there are ample options waiting to be explored. Unsurprisingly, it would appear that Ethereum remains the market leader by quite a landslide, as every other chain is quickly losing traction. 

There are many options one can explore to create a new token.

Ethereum Dominates the Token Issuance Segment

While not all of those tokens will have value or gain traction the market is still firing on all cylinders these days.

New offerings pop up virtually every week, either for airdrops or completely different purposes. , 

Despite the many blockchains to issue tokens, it would appear that Ethereum remains the most prolific blockchain to do so.

In fact, the number of new tokens issued on this chain dwarf all other chains combined. 

All of this is only reinforced by the number of stablecoins now issued on Ethereum. 

Outside of Tether’s USDT, all of the other popular options – USDC, TUSD, BUSD, and PAX – utilize the ERC20 token standard right now.

Combined with a booming and growing DeFi industry, there is a lot of potential waiting to be unlocked in the years to come.

It will be interesting to see if any of the competing blockchains will regain some lost momentum moving forward.
