In a YouTube video, crypto content creator “Kris Does Crypto,” who has amassed more than 11,000 subscribers on YouTube, explored whether Cardano (ADA) can still shock the crypto world in 2025. His analysis provides valuable insights for both new and experienced investors interested in blockchain technologies.

The cryptocurrency market has been experiencing notable fluctuations, with the global crypto market cap standing at approximately $2.7 trillion. Bitcoin has continued its dominance at $85,716, Cardano currently sits in 10th position by market capitalization, priced at $0.6347.

Kris highlights that a former Cardano critic has now invested in ADA, predicting a surge to $4. Additionally, influential crypto personality Alex Becker has named ADA as “the coin with the biggest potential gains in the current market cycle.” Such endorsements from previously skeptical voices have added fuel to the bullish sentiment surrounding Cardano.

Cardano’s technological advancements could significantly impact both its value and the broader cryptocurrency ecosystem. One of the most anticipated developments is Cardano’s Bitcoin Bridge, which could potentially unlock $1.7 trillion in Bitcoin ecosystem liquidity that, according to Kris, is “just sat there doing nothing.”

Cardano’s privacy layer, Midnight, represents another major technical advancement. This privacy-compliant solution addresses one of the key challenges in blockchain technology while maintaining regulatory compatibility. Such innovations position Cardano uniquely in the cryptocurrency landscape.

From a technical analysis perspective, Kris points out that Cardano is forming a “bump and run reversal bottom” – a classic bullish pattern with a potential target of around $0.80. This projection aligns with key March resistance levels and suggests a possible 25% rally. The successful retest above the descending trend line further strengthens confidence in ADA’s upward potential.

Charles Hoskinson, Cardano’s CEO, has made a bold claim that their “Laos” solution has solved the blockchain trilemma – achieving optimal balance between decentralization, security, and scalability. If true, this would represent a breakthrough in blockchain technology.

Kris emphasizes that market capitalization alone can be misleading. He cites Mantra (OM) as an example of how illiquidity can lead to significant price drops. For Cardano, investors should consider liquidity, transaction volume, and actual network activity rather than just market cap figures.

Regarding specific price predictions, Kris maintains a strongly bullish stance on Cardano, forecasting ADA to reach $7 in this bull run. He ranks Cardano alongside XRP and Chainlink as potential top performers in the current market cycle.
