XRP is no longer the coin that used to hover between $0.30 and $0.60, rising and crashing consistently. Things seem to have changed since early November, when it started a four-week-long rally.

Now that the price has started to show some potential, many might be wondering how much investing in XRP could be profitable.

Steph from the YouTube channel “Steph is Crypto” discussed the potential future value of XRP tokens. He specifically addresses how much 500 XRP tokens could be worth in 2025.

At the time of writing, XRP trades at around $2 per token. This makes a 500 XRP investment worth approximately $1,000. However, according to Steph’s analysis, this value could change dramatically.

Steph points to some similarities between current market conditions and the 2017 bull run. He highlights a particular pattern where XRP has broken above its previous bull run highs from 2021, similar to what occurred in 2017 before XRP’s massive price surge.

This technical pattern could signal the beginning of another significant upward movement.

An interesting parallel is drawn with Bitcoin’s historical journey. Steph notes that Bitcoin moved from $2 in 2012 to $1,200 in 2014. While he’s careful not to suggest XRP will follow the exact same trajectory. He thinks significant upside potential exists, given that XRP currently trades at similar price levels to Bitcoin’s 2012 position.

The analysis identifies three key factors that could drive XRP’s value: on-demand liquidity (ODL), the introduction of RLUSD (a new stablecoin), and tokenized assets.

Steph emphasizes that Ripple’s business operations extend beyond mere speculation, with real-world applications being developed and implemented.

Global liquidity patterns also play a crucial role in Steph’s analysis. He points out a correlation between rising global liquidity, M2 money supply, and XRP’s price performance, suggesting that expected increases in global liquidity through 2025 could positively impact XRP’s value.

Steph outlines several possible scenarios for XRP’s 2025 value.

At $10 per token, a 500 XRP investment would be worth $5,000 – a target he considers “easily achievable” given current adoption trends.

A more ambitious $100 per token would turn 500 XRP into $50,000, though this would require widespread adoption of XRP for cross-border payments and Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs).

The most dramatic scenario presented is $1,000 per token, which would value 500 XRP at half a million dollars. While Steph acknowledges this is highly speculative, he argues that Ripple’s developing infrastructure makes such a scenario worth considering.

The analyst expects XRP to reach “double digits” in the current market cycle. However, he appropriately concludes with a reminder that viewers should conduct their own research and make independent decisions about their investment positions.
