An anonymous cryptocurrency investor managed to turn a modest $13,000 investment into $2 million profit in less than an hour by trading a new Ethereum-based memecoin called MOEW. The details of this incredible trade were shared by the on-chain data analysis platform Lookonchain.
According to Lookonchain, the trader spotted the MOEW token just 10 minutes after it began trading and quickly invested 4 Ethereum (ETH), worth around $13,000 at the time, to purchase a massive 499.9 million MOEW tokens. This early entry into the memecoin market paid off handsomely.
Within the next hour, the trader sold off 111.65 million MOEW tokens for a total of 99 ETH, worth approximately $328,000 – a gain of over 25 times their initial investment. However, the trader held onto the remaining 388.24 million MOEW tokens, which are currently valued at a staggering $1.76 million.
