dYdX Removes Deposit Fees on $100+ Instant Transfers Across Major Chains

dYdX has introduced a new update to simplify and accelerate user onboarding: starting June 24, all Instant Deposits of $100 or more are now fee-free across multiple supported networks. This applies to transfers made via Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Polygon, and Avalanche.

What’s Changing

Instant Deposits—already one of the fastest ways to fund a dYdX account—now come without platform deposit fees for transfers of $100 or more. This change is active immediately and will remain available for the foreseeable future, with no set expiration date.

Why This Matters

For many users, high fees and friction during onboarding remain key hurdles in entering DeFi. By eliminating deposit costs on eligible transactions, dYdX lowers the barrier for new and returning users, making it easier to explore trading perpetual contracts and DeFi functionality without upfront costs.
