Product Hunt Lists Binance Academy As The Third Most Popular Service On Its List

Product Hunt, a popular exposure platform, has officially affirmed that Binance’s educational initiative, which is called Binance Academy, is the third most popular website on its list. The exposure platform was launched in 2013 and its goal is to showcase products.

At the moment, Binance Academy ranks third on the platform. Some other crypto-related offerings that actually rank well are Robinhood’s trading tool and Earn.com.

One could believe that binance Academy had a lot of time to solidify this position, however, this does not seem to be the truth, actually. Binance Academy only went online in December 2018. It works as a way to provide new crypto traders with information on how to trade Bitcoin and other cryptos properly.

The Chief Growth Officer of the platform, Ted Lin, has affirmed that education is very important in order to proliferate with the usage of cryptos. According to him, the main goal of the academy is to provide a neutral platform for unbiased information in which people will be able to learn more.

Interest in learning went up after so many hacks happened last year. People started to get afraid that they would lose their money on exchanges, so they decided that they should just learn more themselves in order to be more protected.

Binance is the largest crypto exchange in the world by trading volume, according to CoinMarketCap. The company is set to launch the testnet for a new decentralized exchange, too, Binance DEX. This platform will be fully decentralized and the users will have their own private keys if they decide to use the platform.

This idea was deemed as a good one mostly because of the thefts, so now the users will be responsible for their own money instead of trusting it to the companies. As the security involved in holding cryptos is one of the major concerns of the industry right now, a lot of users are trying to learn more about cryptos as this can give them new ways to protect themselves.

Coinbase Academy has capitalized on the hysteria over hackings but, in fact, the community needs to be more well-informed as the industry is growing and turning into something new. Education, the creators of the academy believe, will be the pillar that will lead the industry forward.
