Digital payment provider Crypto.com has introduced rewards on purchases using its gift cards. According to the company’s announcement, purchases at select locations, including grocers, department stores, and food delivery services, will earn them 2x Pay Rewards.

Earn rewards by paying with Crypto.com gift cards

The coronavirus pandemic has left most of the world quarantined at home, with little else choice but to shop for everything online. In order to expand the real-world usability of cryptocurrencies, a digital asset payment provider has introduced gift cards that allow users to shop at hundreds of merchants using their cryptocurrencies.

Crypto.com, a digital asset wallet, exchange, and payment provider, announced a generous reward program for the use of its gift cards.

According to the company’s blog post, customers using their gift cards to pay for essential items such as groceries or food delivery will be able to earn back double the amount of the company’s Pay Rewards.

A limited deal on Pay Rewards

The 2x Pay Rewards deal will be valid from Mar. 16 to Apr. 1, the company said. However, it’s worth noting that the pay rewards will remain active even after the deal expires, but will offer slightly reduced rewards.

Using Crypto.com gift cards to shop at book stores and department stores will earn users from 2.5 to 5 percent back while using them to pay for food deliveries will earn them from up to 5 percent to up 10 percent back. Paying for groceries, gaming, and entertainment will result in a 5 to 10 percent back reward.

The offer is available in 24 countries, including the U.S., U.K., France, Germany, Canada, Brazil, and Singapore. Customers can use the gift cards to shop at stores such as Whole Foods, Walmart, Amazon, Best Buy, Tesco, Uber Eats, and eBay, to name a few.
