Earlier in the day, Zcoin (XZC) development team announced that they would be implementing the Exodus protocol to the blockchain. Exodus is forked from the Omni protocol, a platform that allows efficient transfer and use of digital assets, settlement of smart contracts and also a decentralized exchange, Exodus protocol will offer Zcoin a more private and efficient platform for its users.

The news of the latest development was met with praise and surety of benefits as Exodus is expected to facilitate the users the exchange of smart assets and allows for customized tokens or smart programmable money to be built on the Zcoin blockchain.

Speaking on the implementation of the Exodus protocol, Poramin Insom, founder of Zcoin said,

“The implementation of Exodus protocol is an exciting move for Zcoin as it expands the utility and functionality of Zcoin’s blockchain without affecting its core functions as a digital currency.”

The Exodus Protocol, built on a reliable Omni protocol, allows users to build their projects on the Zcoin blockchain secured by a proof of work consensus algorithm that ASIC resistant such as our upcoming MTP algorithm.

The latest Zcoin sensation is useful to its users in two major ways as explained by Insom. First, the Exodus protocol allows users to create their customized tokens and use them on the distributed exchanges or exchange them directly on the Zcoin platform. This will be a peer to peer transaction cutting out the middle party.

Additionally, the Exodus protocol will allow users to offer their customized tokens in a public offering (ICO) or decentralized crowdfunding through the Zcoin blockchain. Again, these will be done without any need for a third party.

According to the chief operating officer of Zcoin, Reuben Yap, the Zcoin community had long waited for such an opportunity on the blockchain to build smart assets, the recent implementation of Exodus tokenization layer will offer these users a creative space to come up with interesting concepts of their tokens.

Exodus protocol is expected to push the Zcoin blockchain adoption further globally with the team aiming at rivaling top powers in the blockchain industry.
