Улучшения позволят владельцу канала своевременно убрать из видео нарушающий авторские права фрагмент

Система Content ID является своеобразным хранилищем «цифровых отпечатков» в виде образцов контента, загруженных правообладателями. Когда владелец канала добавляет видео и часть его фрагментов совпадает с данными, содержащимися в Content ID, то ролик помечается как нарушающий авторские права контент. Иногда система дает сбой, тогда жалобу можно подать вручную, но тут и появляется возможность злоупотребления.

В самом YouTube этот момент был назван «некоторой путаницей». Иногда в жалобе не хватает ключевой информации, способной помочь решить проблему. Теперь, когда владельцу канала будет известен временной промежуток, в котором нарушаются авторские права, он сможет воспользоваться инструментами редактирования YouTube (они были тоже улучшены) для удаления фрагмента из записи.
