YouTube начал банить видео о криптовалютах

В сети появились сообщения о том, что крупнейший видеохостинг YouTube начал удалять видео криптовалютной тематики и предъявлять претензии их авторам. В сообщениях, которые получили владельцы каналов, говорится о том, что опубликованный ими контент не соответствует правилам платформы.

Один из популярных криптоблогеров, Крис Дан, сообщил о том, что площадка удалила большинство его видео криптовалютной тематики. Канал автора насчитывает свыше 200 тысяч подписчиков. При этом команда YouTube объяснила свое решением тем, что контент пользователя, по их мнению, «представляет опасность и может вредить».

Для сбора информации об удаленных видео и объединения усилий по выявлению причин, команда популярной биржи цифровых активов Binance в своем блоге разместила соответствующий пост. В комментариях отметились многие блогеры, контент которых был удален видеохостингом.

«На канале с 64 тысячами подписчиков было удалено 51 видео. Также платформа предъявила мне 2 страйка», — написал один из пользователей платформы.

«Мой канал также получил страйк», — отметил другой комментатор, обратив внимание на поддержку криптосообщества в сложившейся ситуации.

Один из пользователей обратил внимание на то, что его канал получил страйк за видео о цензуре на криптовалюту в Южной Корее. В его контенте отсутствовали торговые рекомендации и сами цифровые активы упоминались лишь в контексте.

Позиция YouTube

Команда YouTube не прокомментировала удаление видео. В действующих правилах платформы отсутствует информация о незаконности размещения материалов, связанных с цифровыми активами.

Известный в криптосообществе аналитик Вилли Ву отметил, что возможность подобного поведения со стороны видеохостинга является следствием сформированной им монополии.

YouTube принадлежит Google. Последняя весной 2018 года анонсировала полный запрет рекламы криптовалют и связанных с цифровыми активами компаний. Впоследствии было представлено послабление, в рамках которого Google разрешил рекламу услуг обмена криптовалют в США и Японии.

Примечательно, что ранее YouTube, из-за размещения на видеохостинге материалов рекламного характера о пирамиде BitConnect, был привлечен к судебному разбирательству по делу о проекте в качестве ответчика.
