Korean gaming and entertainment company Wemade has formed a strategic partnership with Whampoa Digital, the digital asset investment branch of Singapore’s Whampoa Group. The collaboration between the two companies aims to invest an impressive $100 million in Web3 projects. With a focus on supporting gaming studios and blockchain initiatives, this partnership marks a new development in the industry.

Collaboration and Support for Web3 Projects

WEMIX Play, Wemade’s Web3 platform, is already making waves with over 250,000 active players. It serves as a platform for converting traditional games into blockchain games, leveraging the benefits of blockchain technology. Additionally, the collaboration between Wemade and Whampoa Digital will provide support and resources to gaming studios and blockchain projects looking to establish offices at the WEMIX Play Center in Dubai International Financial Centre’s Innovation Hub. The center will offer state-of-the-art facilities and mentorship to these projects, with the added ecosystem support from Whampoa Digital.
