The Ukrainian startup Global Ledger has become a partner of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in launching a new course on cryptocurrencies.
The educational initiative focuses on countering the illegal use of digital assets.
This will be the third such virtual resource program for the UNODC. It will be based on Global Ledger’s seven years of experience working with blockchain, customer due diligence practices and on-chain analytics.
During the course, participants will be able to:
conduct real investigations of cybercrimes; study violations of the regulatory regime with the help of professional solutions (including GL-Vision); receive practice both on the basis of historical data and on “live” cases.The course is successfully used in training representatives of the Cyber Police of Ukraine, the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the State Financial Monitoring Service. In the context of ongoing hostilities, the program is designed to teach the identification and prevention of the use of cryptocurrencies in criminal, terrorist activities and circumvention of international sanctions, the Global Ledger noted.
