Центральный банк Китая предостерегает инвесторов о рисках ICO и криптовалют

Народный банк Китая (PBoC), центральный банк страны, опубликовал публичное уведомление, уведомляющее инвесторов о рисках в сферах торговли криптовалютой и участием в первоначальном предложении монет (ICO).

Шанхайский филиал PBoC опубликовал публичное уведомление во вторник, чтобы «напомнить» потребителям и инвесторам о повышении осведомленности о рисках в отношении ICO.

Прошел год с тех пор, как PBoC выпустил полный запрет на все ICO, объявив его незаконной практикой сбора средств.

Сегодня в своем сообщении центральный банк объявил об успешном запрете, заявив:

«Глобальная доля внутренних транзакций в виртуальной валюте снизилась с начальных 90% до менее 5%, эффективно избегая пузыря виртуальной валюты, вызванного резким ростом мировых цен на виртуальную валюту во второй половине прошлого года на финансовом рынке Китая».

Тем не менее, по собственному признанию PBoC, несмотря на запрет активность криптоторговли среди отечественных инвесторов продолжала процветать на оффшорных биржах.

PBoC также заявил, что будет «внимательно следить за ICO и его многочисленными вариантами, укреплять исследования, активно бороться и предотвращать проблемы».

Он добавил:

«Кроме того, (интернет-власти) также укрепили распоряжение внутренними веб-сайтами ICO и виртуальной валютой, публичными номерами, социальными сетями и т. д., и навсегда заблокировали некоторые публичные номера, подозреваемые в публикации информации про ICO и виртуальную валюту».

Технические гиганты за платформами обмена сообщениями и онлайн-общественные форумы, такие как Baidu, Tencent и Alibaba, подвергли цензуре, запретили и / или заблокировали транзакции криптовалюты на своих платформах.
