With the growing popularity of the blockchain, it is believed that merging cloud computing and cloud storage would bring many benefits. One such company that foresees these benefits is Transcendence. Transendence is going to combine the popular blockchain with existing services such as IndieGo app store and AmiCloud.

This will ensure Transcendence becomes an open marketplace that is targeted at artists and developers. It will be an optionally private and decentralized means of communication and a powerful processing platform. The platform will allow users to access cloud services and the d-Wave quantum computing cloud. This is possible especially when you consider that AmiCloud and IndieGo are already on Transcendence.

To achieve this, Transcendence will put all participants in the network at the same level. This will be achieved by combining Proof of Stake with proof of SaaS and PoC (Computation Power as a Service).

To achieve its objectives, the platform has introduced the Telos Coin. This coin will act as the method of choice for payments. In essence, Telos is a crypto coin with a focus on privacy. It is backed by the Blockchain PoS 2.0 protocol.

The result is that it works by leveraging a network of masternodes, which are utilized to attain open decentralized governance. Additionally, it ensures better privacy for all transactions. With the launch of Transcendence, the main purposes of the coin will be to offer privacy-backed transactions and a governance structure to help users sustain the network.

Owning Telos Coin will not be possible without this wallet. The wallet will come with some predefined bounties. However, it will also have an option for the community to set up bounties on a project basis. Just like other blockchains, Telos utilizes P2P blockchain architecture.

Right now, the Transcendence team is working on the Telos coin site. The site will come with a calculator and price index, a master node, and Orange PI bundles. These bundles will be called the PiggyBank 2.0, which can be utilized to control access to the master nodes. Besides that, the Transcendence Dashboard, meant to be a successor to the QT—based wallet is being developed. This Dashboard app will combine all the third party services and other services such as Hashrate renting and masternode hosting services and exchanges.

Those with the IndieGo Retro console owners will install the Telos Wallet by updating the consoles. This will let them earn Telos Coins while they play the modern and retro games on their TV. In the future, Transcendence is going to support Zcash, Bitcoin, Hush, and Verium networks for transactions with lower fees. The network also plans to run Bitdorado, an upcoming exchange in Estonia and PeerToro a mining successor to the German Peerschweinchen.
