HelloIOTA, a forum made for IOTA news, has recently published an article called “The IOTA – Fujitsu Connection”. In the article, the relationship between Fujitsu and the blockchain company IOTA is discussed.

The article is pretty thorough and it analyzes the relationship between the two companies since the CEO of Fujitsu, Dr. Rolf Werner, has started liking IOTA-tagged tweets back in 2017. The article covers details of IOTA, about Werner joining the IOTA team, Fujitsu’s partnership with Intel, among other events.

According to the article, since November 2017, after Werner addressed the benefits of Tangle, IOTA’s technology that makes the network work, he became a member of the IOTA Foundation’s supervisory board. Fujitsu showcased IOTA soon after and Dr. Rolf Werner once more has spoken about how good the IOTA technology is.

On various occasions has Fujitsu and, specifically, Dr. Rolf Werner shown interest in IOTA. The company promoted the token more than once and there was a partnership between the two companies.

Just earlier this month, news surfaced the internet about the new Fujitsu project that announced a new blockchain productization framework that would be extremely rapid and was created to enable the development of a Minimum Viable Product (MVP).

The company is calling a “proof of business” approach and is avoiding too many blockchain plans before the actual business benefit of the company is made completely clear. The project is currently being called “Hyperledger Fabric”.

Hyperledger Fabric will be a flagship product of Fujitsu. The company holds more than 50 patents in blockchain technology and this will be an important project for the future of the company.

Many users on Reddit seemed confused as to whether the company will leave IOTA on the side and focus only on the new Hyperledger product. However, as the two technologies seem to be very different, that will probably not happen so easily.
