The BitTorrent Foundation Airdrop Slated To Run To 2025 As The First Round gets Concluded

The first of what will be a series of monthly BitTorrent Foundation airdrop has just been successfully completed. Making the grand announcement via his Twitter handle, the CEO of Tron Foundation, Justin Sun broke the news to the countless, elated TRX holders.

The entire process will happen every month up to 2025. However, for the vast TRX community, the CEO urged them that, even with the success of the BitTorrent Foundation airdrop, they may have to be patient and wait for the tokens to be distributed.

According to him, the large volume of the tokens to be airdropped means that the whole process may take longer for everyone to get his/her rightful share. And so, the entire period of BTT airdrops distribution will go down as perhaps the longest in history.

However, from the entire BTT tokens in circulation, 10.1% will go to holders of TRX coins, thanks to the airdrops. Effectively, this will suit Tron’s quest to provide incentives to those who invested on BitTorrent – the large, P2P file-sharing site.

It appears that not everyone has warmed up to the idea of this activity lasting until 2025. Many are understandably skeptical of the entire strategy because the crypto industry is erratically unpredictable and the price of TRX may rub investors the wrong way.

It’s every TRX holder’s prayer that this airdrops program doesn’t go the Binance way. Their questionable BTT token sale left many investors fuming. They felt cheated that many of them didn’t get a chance to snap up the tokens because they all sold out quickly.

However, Tron CEO has promised a free airdrop upon the completion of this, mainly meant for those whose orders were not completed on Binance. It will remain to be seen how the entire activity goes!
