SportsCastr blockchain project has partnered with WNBPA to offer basketball fans premium content from the women’s professional basketball league, powered by the SportsCastr FanChain token.

The SportsCastr social live-streaming platform makes it possible for anyone to become a color commentator.

The partnership with WNBPA was made possible by REP Worldwide, the agency responsible for WNBPA’s group licensing and player-marketing.

With this partnership, all players will have the opportunity to use SportsCastr in providing live commentaries and other exciting content.

SportsCastr will also collaborate with WNBPA to provide premium opportunities for players.

The FanChain token from the stables of SportsCastr serves as an incentive for users of the platform. It helps them unlock premium player content, buy sports tickets, merchandise and more.

The SportsCastr team is holding talks with various teams, publishers and others in the sports industry to foster wider adoption of FanChain.

The NFL Players Association also recently acquired a minority stake in SportsCastr, making the project a licensed NFLPA project.

The WNBA players will begin using the platform in Q3 of this year, and the WNBA portal will go live in Q4.

SportsCastr is funded by elites in the sports world including NBA Commissioner Emeritus David Stern and others.
