Splend Start-up Introduces Integrated Blockchain Architecture (IBA)

The global Blockchain market is growing by the day and is estimated to grow to US $2.3 billion by 2021. Unfortunately, this revolutionary technology is not perfect and its imperfections may slow down its growth rate.

Splend is a Silicon Valley start-up that is focused on creating solutions to Blockchain limitations. The four major limitations being scalability, transaction speed and latency, transaction cost and security and transparency.

The Integrated Blockchain Architecture allows or scaling of the Blockchain’s functionality between software and hardware components to ultimately improve the performance of the system which will not be limited to a small number of components. Splend is led by CEO Rick Bleszynski who is a serial entrepreneur, microprocessor industry professional and a C-level manager with 30 years of experience in the networking industry. He was also the Chairman and Founder at Bay Microsystems and the CTO and founder at Softcom Microsystems which was acquired by Intel Corp. in 1999.

Splend’s co-founders, Mike Han and Brian Tran have over 20 years’ experience in software development in Silicon Valley and this also applies to its senior executives. This team has shown its prowess in decentralized Peer to Peer (P2P) blockchain protocols and algorithms, complex network processing hardware, and software coupled with system-on-a-chip expertise.

CEO, Bleszynski explained that Blockchain has the potential to become the new dominant network and that the Splend team has adequate experience in solving similar problems to the Blockchain limitations. They intend to make the Blockchain network universal just like the Computer and the Internet.

Splend has released its Universal CryptoWallet (UCW) which is built on the IBA Flash Network. UCW charges no fee for financial operations made within the platform, works with unprecedented speed and provides a 12-layer security shield. It will start by supporting the Ethereum network and ERC-20 tokens.

Splend has joined an alliance with Shanghai Code Center Industry to adopt IBA Flash Network technology for the China Cable Television Network.
