Сеть Lightning станет «мостом» между Африкой и Евросоюзом

В рамках партнерства компаний CoinCorner и Bitnob планируется задействовать сеть Lightning для упрощенной отправки средств из Африки в Евросоюз.

Разработчики решили внести свой вклад в формирование глобальной инфраструктуры биткоина, несмотря на доминирование медвежьих настроений в индустрии. С помощью такого «моста» планируется осуществлять оперативные переводы с участием нескольких фиатных валют.

На данный момент львиную долю транзакций между Африкой и ЕС обрабатывает платежная система Western Union. При этом спрос на отправку средств с минимальными операционными издержками постоянно растет.

Поэтому решили задействовать Lightning Network, чтобы биткоин-транзакции обрабатывались вне базового блокчейна. С помощью криптовалюты можно перевести евро или британский фунт и конвертировать BTC в денежные единицы Нигерии, Ганы и Кении.

С помощью приложения пользователь может конвертировать свою валюту в биткоин, а получатель средств производит обмен BTC на фиатные деньги своей страны.

Гендиректор CoinCorner Дэнни Скотт отметил:

Независимость биткоина делает его отличным инструментом для отправки средств по всему миру. С Lightning Network отправка биткоинов происходит мгновенно и по низкой стоимости.
