Ruff Chain Launches New Internet of Things (IoT) at Slush Shanghai

Last week marked the end of a successful top-level global entrepreneurship dubbed Slush Shanghai, which took place from September 7-8, 2018 at the Shanghai Automobile Exhibition Center.

The investment conference attracted attendees from various quarters of the sci-tech economy including Smart City, Internet of Things, Internet of Vehicles, Blockchain, FutureMotive, and Medical technology companies. Participants included startup and institutional investors, domestic and foreign media outlets, as well as over 15000 professional visitors.

Ruff Chain the IoT network that embraces a distributed operating system and an open main chain, participated in the conference as a technical IoT blockchain project. It participated on road show stages, professional exhibition avenues for startups and roundtable discussion stages. Ruff Chain also engaged experts from various industry professionals, dispensing information on how to change the face of IoT using the blockchain technology.

Jing Tianwei, Ruff co-founder, delivered a roundtable presentation with the theme “Blockchain Technology with Quick Change.”

Speaking during the discussion, Tianwei said:

“The changes in blockchain technology were determined in most cases by the business scenarios of IoT, including decisions about which kinds of data in IoT would be subjected to distributed storage by the data value. Therefore, according to the current situation, all main chains seem to be identical in the development process. However, there will be a huge difference in the delivery according to enterprises’ implementing objectives, which can include the choice of consensus algorithms and the demand standard of TPS.”

Other participants in the discussion included WanChain Founder Lu Xujun, EveriToken co-founder Luo Xiao, and Mathias Glintborg of the Ontology Global Business Leader.

During the roadshow stages for startups, Tianwei shared his experiences at Ruff Chain. The Ruff boss explained that blockchain startups must decide between addressing business needs with relevant technical products and resisting temptations that go beyond the blockchain technology. Otherwise, such ventures risk degenerating in a bubble burst.

Ruff Chain’s exhibit booth was a popular catchment during the Slush Shanghai conference. It attracted experts from a wide array of industries, who were eager to know more about the IoT blockchain and its application potential. The company also shed light on customer care cases, which they have implemented in the field of IoT.
