Why Would XRP Holders Will be Rewarded After These Long and Hard Months?

During the last months, XRP has been in the media because it is trying to avoid being considered a security by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Ripple has shown why XRP is not a security and why it shouldn’t be considered one.

However, Ripple continues to work and offer solution to hundreds of financial institutions all over the world.

Cory Johnson, who works at Ripple Labs, was featured in an interview at the Milken Institute Asia Summit 2018. Other experts were also present at the summit. Mr. Cory was asked about blockchain technology and the solutions it gives to the general economy. He answered that the financial world experiences several frictions and that blockchain is offering several solutions to these issues.

He then explained that blockchain technology as the one that Ripple is developing allow companies solve problems related to cross-border payments. Banks, for example, were able to reduce the fees paid for cross border payments and the time the transactions took to settle.

Cory has also talked about the work being carried out by the company about whether it is a security or not. He explained that several regulators are trying to solve the problem about speculations on cryptocurrencies and that they are worried about the future of virtual currencies.

About it, he mentioned:

“When we meet with regulators, I have personally been really surprised by how much they know, and how much they really want to know. hey don’t seem to walk into this, with sort of this notion of fear and doubt, they actually want to listen and learn.”

In addition to it, Corey said that the world is trying to embrace blockchain technology. Firms are moving into this direction, and they are searching places where the technology is able to grow.

Moreover, Ripple is going to launch in October its latest product known as xRapid. According to CNBC, the main version of xRapid may be launched in a very short period of time.

xRapid would play an important role to solve the problems related to liquidity costs. This is why, Ripple was collaboration with different exchanges such as Bittrex, Bitso and Coin.Ph to improve the xRapid solutions.

“I am very confident that in the next one month or so you will see come good news coming in where we launch the product live in production,” commented Sarbhai.

XRP holders are very excited about the possibilities that are being opened thanks to this solution. XRP could certainly increase in price in the future and the adoption of xRapid would be a key factor.
