Crypto veteran Austin Hilton again weighed in on the situation around the XRP price that’s actually down 4% today, now trading below $2.40.

However, this is still in line with our pessimistic XRP price prediction for this week – to stay in the $2.30 – 2.50 range.

Ripple’s legal battle with the SEC is turning a corner. The regulatory body has pulled back from its previous hard stance. Behind closed doors, there are signs of a more friendly approach to crypto regulation.

The company has nearly settled its $125 million fine. This breakthrough removes a major roadblock that has held back investor confidence for months.

Why XRP Isn’t Booming Yet

Despite the legal progress, XRP’s price remains stuck. The reason isn’t simple. Global economic uncertainty is making investors nervous. Many are keeping their money safe in stablecoins instead of jumping into crypto.

People are worried about big economic issues. Inflation, AI job risks, and overall economic instability are keeping investors on the sidelines. Both individual and big institutional investors are playing it safe.

The entire crypto market is in a similar holding pattern. Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other major cryptocurrencies are waiting for a market mood shift.

Analysts like Austin Hilton remain optimistic. They see XRP as a long-term investment with potential. The advice is to stay patient and focus on the broader picture rather than day-to-day price fluctuations.
