The team behind Ripple shared the news about officially partnering with three exchanges for its xRapid transactions using the XRP cryptocurrency. These three exchanges are Bittrex, Bitso and Coins.ph.

Ripple Partners With Three Exchange Platforms

In an official post published by Ripple on its website on Aug 16, the blockchain company announced that it is moving forward with working with three exchanges to provide cross-border payments with minimized liquidity costs through its xRapid system.

Cory Johnson, Chief Market Strategist at Ripple, also shared the news in a Twitter post:

In the spirit of the recent partnership with Ripple and as being part of the growing Ripple network, Bittrex exchange also shared the news on Twitter, stating:

“Announced today: Bittrex is the U.S. preferred digital asset exchange for xRapid transactions using #XRP.”

The Three Exchanges to Contribute to Further Success of xRapid

The three exchanges will aid in the further success of xRapid. The exchanges will join Ripple in its mission to change the form of traditional cross-border payment services. Powered by XRP, xRapid’s cross-border payments will allow faster transactions, remove delays and cut liquidity costs.

Moreover, Ripple hopes that these partnerships with the three exchanges will give financial businesses the assurance that “their payments will move seamlessly between different currencies.”

The latest additions of the mentioned exchanges are a part of Ripple’s partnership program, called RippleNet, which was started back in May of this year. RippleNet is a decentralized network of banks and financial institutions that use Ripple blockchain to provide “real-time messaging, clearing and settlement of financial transactions.” This is in line with Ripples’ vision of providing a “frictionless experience” in sending money across the globe using blockchain technology.
