Here’s an offer from Pornhub that might get porn viewers more indulged. Tube8, a subsidiary of Pornhub, has accomplished a partnership deal with Vice Industry Token (VIT). It aims to reward viewers with cryptocurrency using blockchain technology.

While disclosing the agreement with VIT, Pornhub shared with Hard Fork that it is aiming to make Tube8’s platform completely tokenized, as reported by The Next Web. Its exclusive tie-up with VIT will enable the audience to earn VIT tokens for streaming and interacting with its services over Tube8.

Robin Turner, a spokesperson of Tube8, told Hard Fork that they are now making a paradigm shift in the adult entertainment industry. He added:

“The more they interact with our videos, the more money they earn.”

Pornhub’s spokesperson further explained that VIT would encourage users to open an account and interact with the videos to get tokens. He said:

“Whereas before users would log in, watch a few videos and leave, VIT incentivizes them to create an account and interact with the content to generate Vice Tokens.”

With this new agreement, Pornhub’s Tube8 will be on par with other premium adult networks like Stormy Daniels and Playboy TV, which announced during the early period of 2018 that they would allow their viewers to earn token rewards.

According to News.co.au, the adult entertainment site is all set to launch an awards show. Los Angeles is the first city where the brand is going to hold the Pornhub Awards, which is set to take place on September 6. The famous thirty-two-year-old American porn actress Asa Akira will host the show.

Fans will be able to view a live stream of the award show through Oasis, a virtual reality world.
