The prerequisite for the use of the Passware Kit password recovery solution is the wallet file. Typically, this file is stored on the wallet owner's computer. On the Blockchain.com wallet, the file is called wallet.aes.json, while on the Bitcoin Core wallet it is known as wallet.dat. Alternatively, this file can also be downloaded from the web.
