NEO News Today released its week in review report on Monday which discussed Binance’s Blockchain Week and the World Economic Forum (WEF) at Davos.

Events NEO AttendedNEO founder Da Hongfei attended the Binance Blockchain Week 2019 in Singapore on January 22.
He delivered a keynote address titled “Blockchain & Smart Economy” during the event, sharing his opinion on blockchains and what’s next for smart economy.
On January 25, Lil Zhao, the ecosystem manager of NEO Global Development (NGD) moderated a panel on the blockchain/crypto industry at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
The discussion was titled:
“Smart Economy on Blockchain: Digital Assets, Digital Identity, and Regulations.”
On the same day, NEO Colorado community group hosted its second meetup in Denver, US.
The theme of the meetup was “NEO’s path to network decentralization.”

“A presentation delivered at the meetup consisted of a brief overview of types of decentralization and NEO’s approach to decentralizing its consensus nodes. Also discussed was the application process to operate a consensus node, and a case study using O3 Labs as an example candidate.”
NEO Ecosystem and Other DevelopmentsOn January 21, QLC Chain released its bi-weekly report highlighting v2.0 release of its WinQ dApp. In this report, QLC Chain detailed how users can earn WGAS and use it to pay for VPN services. QLC is looking to complete integration of its Virtual Machine and smart contracts as well.
BlaCat released their weekly report on January 22, announcing that they have finished working on parts of the ZoroChain testnet and mainnet.
On the same day, Effect.AI also released its newsletter highlighting the addition of its EFX token to the Blockfolio “Signals” program. Their ambassador program will go live on February 1 with 49 ambassadors.
NEO also detailed the developments by Endorsit, O3 Labs, Alphacat, Narrative, nOS, Nash and Trinity Protocol.
