NBA Basketball Legend Kobe Bryant to Speak at Tron (TRX)’s NiTRON Crypto Summit

The crypto market is making an effort to really become mainstream and accepted and we can really see it now that Kobe Bryant, the NBA star that won the Olympic Gold Medal twice, will be a guest speaker at the NiTRON Summit 2019, which will happen in San Francisco. The information was unveiled today, November 20, originally by Cointelegraph.

The NiTRON Summit 2019 will happen soon and it is focused on the TRON (TRX) network and its developments. Kobe Bryant, the basketball champion, has been invited as an special guest to share his thought about his life experience and to inspire young leaders and entrepreneurs.

This pretty much means that he will not be talking about cryptocurrencies, only showing up because he’s famous. The original press release has affirmed that Bryant is a personal guest of Justin Sun, the creator of the Tron network and its main public figure.

Crypto Community and Stars

Stars like the crypto community, that’s a fact. In many years, several celebrities have already spoken about cryptos and supported the community. Names like Eminem, which mentions Bitcoin in his latest album and the rapper Akon, who also talked about Bitcoin, are among the ones who are helping the crypto community to rise in popularity.

Akon, just like many other celebrities, has even though about creating his own token. However, no celebrity token ended up actually being famous in the market.

Other cases of celebrities praising tokens include the former U. S. president Bill Clinon, which made a keynote speech at Ripple’s global payments tech conference and Michael Owen, a former Liverpool football star, which made an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) to launch his own OWN tokens back in March 2018.

However, the U. S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has already warned investors that ICOs endorsed by celebrities could be considered illegal as using social media and public figures to make people purchase stocks and other investments “may be unlawful”.
