MyEtherWallet (MEW), a free, open-source interface for Interacting with the Ethereum Blockchain, has partnered with Changelly, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, to add a multi-swap functionality in the newly reinvented wallet interface dubbed MEW V5.

Speaking about the collaboration, the founder and CEO of MyEtherWallet, Kosala Hemachandra, said that the new interface marks a new growth phase for the MEW and that the partnership with Changelly will help them further their objective.

According to a press release, Hemachandra commented:

“The newly unveiled MEW V5 builds on our project’s ongoing focus to empower users with an easy-to-use interface for the Ethereum blockchain that does not compromise on security and anonymity. We are excited to partner with Changelly to further this goal by integrating their multi-swap function into our platform.”

The CEO of Changelly, IIya Bere also had kind words about the partnership, stating that the collaboration between the two will help foster cryptocurrency adoption. In his own words, he said:

“Ultimately, greater collaboration between blockchain market leaders is pivotal if we are to truly bring cryptocurrency to the mainstream world. Our integration into MEW V5 moves us one step closer to this and enables users to seamlessly exchange their tokens in just a few minutes.”

MyEtherWallet already allows users to access their wallets through MetaMask, MEWconnect, software, and hardware.

Expected to kick off in 2019, the reinvented interface is expected to include a swap page developed to work like a cryptocurrency marketplace, meaning that users can exchange cryptocurrency assets and have the freedom to choose the best market rates.

The announcement of the new MEW V5 interface is certainly some good news will be for the cryptocurrency community. Both new and native users of MyEtherWallet will now be able to swap their tokens easily without having to move their coins from their wallets to other cryptocurrency exchanges and back to their wallets for safe keeping.
