The metaverse is set to become a place where people will live their digital lives. How will their digital avatars while living the virtual life?

According to research, the metaverse market could be worth over $678 Billion by 2030. The active monthly users can go as high as 600 million.

How will avatar live their digital lives?

There was a huge demand for land in the metaverse in 2021 and early 2022. The users can utilize the land to develop homes, music venues, galleries, clubs, and more. The metaverse is preparing to be a virtual world where users will be able to live their digital lives.

The virtual avatar will wear clothes and accessories while living their virtual lives in homes. The fashion brand Zara has launched the Lime Glam collection for the metaverse. Gucci launched its collection on Gucci Villa.

Similarly, fashion and accessories brands like Dolce & Gabbana, Nike, and Adidas have jumped on the NFT and metaverse bandwagon.

Food in the Metaverse

If the digital avatar can wear a Zara dress and Nike sneakers, where will it go for brunch?

Trademark attorney Mike Kondoudis reported through a tweet that Kraft Food Group Brands have applied to trademark the iconic Weinermobile. Kraft has over 200+ brands sold in nearly 200+ countries.  According to the trademark application, they have plans for NFT marketplaces for buying virtual goods and services like food and drink items and restaurant services.

Earlier this month, fast food chain In-N-Out Burger also filed a new trademark to offer virtual foods and drinks in the metaverse. The trademark application states that they plan to open online retail store services featuring virtual goods, food, beverages, and merchandise associated with the restaurant for use in the online virtual world. Del Monte Foods filed eight trademark applications for similar purposes earlier this month.

Not just these three brands but also many other notable companies have filed trademarks claiming they will open restaurants in the metaverse.
