The Mavatrix project has completed the minting of its first collection of NFTs as of January 28th, Invezz learned from a press release. Launched late last year, it includes 8,799 unique ‘Mavatars’, all of which have been purchased by public and private investors in a presale. These are original NFT characters inspired by the Japanese chibi art style.

Apart from buying the NFT, investors will take part in Mavatrix’s reward pool, generated by the project to collect royalties coming from DeFi transactions of MVV, their native token.

MVV runs on Binance Smart Chain (BNB/USD). It has been available on PancakeSwap (CAKE/USD) since February 2nd. Owners of the NFTs will soon have access to a dedicated section of the project’s official website, which will feature their NFTs as well as their attributes, such as rewards capacity and rarity.

Mavatrix’s founder Giulio Gagliano commented:

I would like to thank everyone who joined early into Mavatrix’s journey. Having successfully sold-out almost nine thousand unique NFTs in just a little over a month, we are now certain about the ability of Mavatrix to project confidence in its investors.

Owners of the NFT collection will be able to claim their cumulated rewards starting from this date. After that, claims can be made every 24 hours.

The project has a few important milestones in its immediate future. They are working on their first play-to-earn game. Giulio Gagliano describes it as an interactive, community-driven hub of Gacha games that will use NFT tech and the blockchain to make it possible for users to play mini-games and complete while earning tokens.

The game project is open to anyone who wants to join the conversation on their Discord server as it develops alongside its community.
