Starting today, high-volume Coinbase Pro and Prime customers based in Europe can access USD trading pairs, providing them with the deepest pools of liquidity for USD to crypto trading available through our USD books.

This is a major boost for our European customers, who can now trade multiple fiat pairs through one Coinbase account, making trading as frictionless as possible.

Cryptocurrencies are by their very nature global, and our clients think globally as well. Many crypto-native funds, hedge funds and market makers based in Europe want to reap the benefits of the greater liquidity that exists in the US, while also servicing their clients in their local currency (EUR or GBP). We’re responding to this need.

Our goal is to build the critical infrastructure that institutional investors around the world need to trade crypto. As another step on this journey, our European Prime customers can now also deposit and withdraw USD via international wires.
