A New Survey By eToro Reveals A Keen Interest In Education In Crypto Assets

A new study that has been conducted by eToro US has found that despite the interest that exists in the investment of crypto assets, education proves to be the key barriers that exist for the online investors to purchase the assets adequately.

The eToro company has been considered to be the leading global investment platform in the market. From the survey that was conducted it was found that 69% of the online investors and the respondents were actually interested in learning more about it.

But with the nationwide survey that constituted about 1,000 online investors found that the proficiency that is currently in the crypto class seems to still be low.

And in this number three-quarter of the ones who do not hold the current asset class have gone ahead to state that they are not well informed about the crypto assets. Even for the investors who get into the investment of the crypto assets, one-fifth of them still feel that their proper understanding of the market is still lacking.

Having proper education is key across the board, it is a critical barrier that has been able to prevent people from investing in the crypto market properly. It has been found that almost 44% of the online investors state that education has become the main reason for inadequate trading in the crypto market.

It is a factor that has proved to be true even to the millennials in the market, who have been considered to know about this asset class than any other generation.

When we look at the resources that are available to learn more about the crypto market, it is clear that it is very limited. Most of the investors who would like to know about the market only lean on observing the trading platforms together with the trends taking place in social media as a source of guidance.

– The first thing is ensuring that you start with a small amount in your investment, an amount that is just enough for you to test the waters, from this 92% were interested or very interested.

– Find an experienced trader in the market and try to mimic their current portfolio and their trading patterns.

– Ensure you have done some research by yourself using the existing online channels that have been made available.

Despite having the needed knowledge and the resources, it has been found that 97% of both the generation X and the millennials are very interested in learning more about the crypto market. This is providing a tremendous opportunity in ensuring that the needed information is provided to have formal training, one that is appropriately structured.

When analyzing the groups in the survey, the one thing that was found common across all the groups who are not currently investing is the top three barriers that exist, this is the fear of scams, the price volatile that takes place in the market, and the lack of proper knowledge of the market. But the top reason as to why men and women are not trading differed significantly.

. The lack of proper educational resources available in the market is one of the main reason as to why women would not invest, and it could be the reason that would affect whether or not they would take advantage of the market.

It was found that the investment gap that exists between men and women is vast, which lead most companies to develop services that are more tailored to women. When we look at the crypto market, we also need to start closing this gap that exists, and this is by ensuring they provide the needed education and resources required to make sure that women feel a little bit more comfortable tapping into this investment option.
