The Kin Developer Program Will Be Supporting Eight Crypto Gaming Projects

Ella Zhang who is the head of Binance Labs has just recently stated that the gaming sector has a potential to be a low hanging fruit when we look at the blockchain market. With this sentiment, then it has come as no surprise that about 8 out of 40 projects that are participating in the Kin Developer Program are solely working on games that are blockchain driven.

The Kin Developer Program is a $5 million incubator program that has been led by the Kin foundation. The program is currently underway, and if you are looking to find out more about the current developers, you can do this on their website.

The Gaming Industry Has Potential in The Blockchain Market

In an announcement that was just made recently, Kin went ahead to point out that the gaming industry has been an active category for the different developers who are within their ecosystem. The project notes go ahead to state that gaming use cases were actually the second highest category of the submissions that were accepted in the ongoing program.

With the use of crypto coins. It enables very easy peer to peer transactions taking place between the gamers in the industry, especially for those who play opponents in different countries across the globe and they use different currencies for the mode of payment. But this is not all as the developers in the market will also be able to use it to ensure it is able to spark some interests and also be in a position to incentivize new people to play the games.

The gaming projects that will be integrated by Kin will be ranging from soccer-fantasy football platforms to even the augmented reality, a collectable card game that will let the player search for the available collectable cards.

The program will be in a position to support projects that are up to $60,000 and about 400 million Kin; all this will be done over a 6-month period. The program was expanded from the original 25 projects to include about 40 projects in overall. At the moment KIN has been ranked as the 72nd, this is on the ALT100, AltDex 100 Index. It is a benchmark index for the various crypto coins and currencies with a large cap in the market.
