TRON Leader Justin Sun Unarchives Satoshi Nakamoto's Bitcoin Whitepaper Mention of BitTorrent File Sharing Network and Relates to Secret Atlas Project

Tron Founder Justin Sun is always making cryptocurrency headlines as anything he tweets is instant airwaves for the TRX community and network. Recently he unveiled the long awaited secret project which had been highly publicized: Project Atlas.

Tron's Atlas project details are still unfolding but early indication shows it would be an integration of BitTorrent and Tron. The Foundation has completed the initial merge and also welcomed in the Tron Virtual Machine launch (in which 1.2 million people tuned-into) to update their roadmap for the next three months. The details pertaining to it will be released by the end of August after recently celebrating turning one (along with Justin's birthday).

But, as you can see the headline of this news piece, things get super interesting as the famed TRX leader Justin Sun trolls Satoshi Nakamoto's Bitcoin Whitepaper. Here's the scoop.

Today, in a tweet Sun pointed out that Satoshi Nakamoto himself was interested in developing a project that is similar to the Atlas project all the way back from November 3, 2008.

According to Justin's assumptions, much like his secret Atlas project, Satoshi, in an E-Mail pointed out:

“For transferable proof of work tokens to have value, they must monetary value. To have monetary value, they must be transferred within a very large network – for example a file trading network akin to bittorrent“

The foundation claims that it wants to build what it calls a “decentralized internet,” allowing developers to build blockchain-based applications. It’s unclear how exactly Tron plans to integrate with BitTorrent.

BitTorrent has up to 170 million monthly users. Both Facebook and Twitter use BitTorrent to distribute updates to their servers. Florida State University also distributes large-scale scientific data to its researchers via BitTorrent. The game World of Warcraft produced by Blizzard Entertainment is downloaded by users with the help of BitTorrent. Transmission of data on the protocol allegedly takes up 40% of daily Internet traffic on a global scale.

With Atlas project, Justin is exploring the possibility of improving the BitTorrent protocol with the help of Tron protocol in order to make it faster and lengthen the lifespan of BitTorrent swarms. They aim to improve the current Altruism with the integration of Tron network to BitTorrent. Currently, there are no incentives for peers who have completed downloading to continue to seed but sure to see that change in the coming weeks and/or months.
