The appearance of a public persona in the world of digital currency seems to be common these days. Keisuke Honda, a Japanese professional footballer, has recently been appointed by BITPoint exchange to promote its brand.

BITPoint’s Official Statement

Cryptocurrencies have been extremely popular in Japan, with millions of residents said to have been trading cryptocurrency. BITPoint’s official site released a statement announcing its association with Keisuke Honda, a Japanese footballer who plays for Australian club Melbourne Victory. He is also the coach of the Cambodia national football team.

Although BITPoint has not revealed the amount it has paid for the backing of the 32-year-old attacking midfielder, the official statement revealed that the payment to the footballer was made in cryptocurrency.
