Ever wanted to write for or contribute to a blog? The Blockchain Pulse Blog is looking for leaders and experts in related subject matter who can contribute their voice to this growing community of written works.

They are looking for writers who can summarize events, relay news on breakthroughs in tech or achievement, convey insight into the industry as a whole, and argue personal viewpoints.

This will not be an avenue by which you can write content to promote brands or yourself (except by means of your own author page), but will instead be an agnostic blog where people educated and uneducated in the field of blockchain tech can read content and possibly learn.

The goal of Blockchain Pulse is to

“seek to educate and advance the conversation around blockchain.”

Firstly, the more articles produced that explains blockchain and its uses, the better. It is still a relatively new marketplace and a lot of people do not fully understand it. As there is a lot of similar content out there, the best way to stand out with readers is through uniqueness.

When explaining blockchain and its concepts, using specific examples tends to get the most positive feedback.

All your topics should always be relevant to blockchain and be interesting. If it is important for people to know and there is concern that it is not interesting enough, find a way to make them pay attention. It is fine to mention vendor events as long as it never sounds like an advertisement, for yours or anyone else’s benefit.

Technically speaking, these articles will be syndicated and any story broken by Pulse will belong to them for a minimum of 48 hours before you are allowed to post it on other sites as a way of making sure people know where it came from. Republications must of canonical tagging pointing to the original location of the article. Any confusion and they will be happy to help.

Beyond that, articles will ideally be 750 to 1,000 words long and must always be original content. It is also imperative that broad political commentary is avoided. Above all, articles should be inclusive and positive.

You can ask for publication on your own timeline but otherwise, they will discuss with you when they would like to publish so you can prepare for promotion through your personal and company channels.

Like any company, they reserve the right to publish when it works best for them and adjust that date at will. Original images and graphics preferred.

Before publishing with them for the first time, they will work with you on creating your author profile. It will require a 300 x 300 head-shot- and a short bio (under 1k words). It is allowed to include self-promotion, personal links, and links to other companies you work for.

It is expected on good faith that each piece have the 48-hour window for them only and as a result, they return in kind by endeavoring to be easy to work with/for and have no contractual agreements about any article.

If for any reason there is an issue and you need an article removed promptly, they are available by email and willing to work with you on your needs.
