XRP price predictions are always a hot topic, but things get even more interesting when you start thinking about how XRP could perform if Bitcoin reaches the much-anticipated $1 million mark. TheCryptoBasic explored what might happen to Ripple price in such a scenario, and the findings are surprising.

Right now, many experts believe Bitcoin will eventually reach $1 million. This idea is gaining support from industry leaders like Michael Saylor, CZ from Binance, Jack Dorsey, Samson Mow, and even Charles Hoskinson from Cardano.

According to TheCryptoBasic, growing institutional interest is pushing this optimism. More than 200 companies have already added Bitcoin to their balance sheets, following the example of MicroStrategy. There are even reports that the U.S. government plans to create a Bitcoin reserve holding 1 million BTC. These developments show just how serious big players are about Bitcoin’s future.

As Bitcoin moves closer to $1 million, the total crypto market could expand massively. TheCryptoBasic points out that Bitcoin currently dominates 65.71% of the $3.28 trillion crypto market. If Bitcoin hits $1 million and keeps this dominance, the total crypto market cap would grow to about $30.26 trillion. This is where things get exciting for XRP.

TheCryptoBasic explains that XRP currently holds about 3.93% of the global crypto market. If XRP can keep this market share when Bitcoin is worth $1 million, XRP price would climb to around $20.15. This would give XRP a market cap of roughly $1.19 trillion, setting a new all-time high for Ripple.

That would mean XRP rising by around 830% from its current price of $2.18. This kind of move would represent nearly a 9x gain, making it a huge win for anyone holding XRP during that time. TheCryptoBasic says this calculation assumes XRP keeps the same market share it has today, which might actually be a conservative estimate.

According to TheCryptoBasic, some believe XRP could hit these price levels even before Bitcoin reaches $1 million. Davinci Jeremie, a well-known Bitcoin advocate, has predicted XRP could reach $24 by the end of 2025. That’s much sooner than many analysts expect Bitcoin to hit seven figures since most see that milestone coming closer to 2030.

Telegaon analysts cited by TheCryptoBasic are even more bullish. They project XRP could reach $87 by 2035, the same year they expect Bitcoin to hit $1.2 million. That price would mean an even bigger surge than the $20 target if XRP’s market share grows or if it benefits from factors unique to Ripple’s ecosystem.

TheCryptoBasic highlights that XRP has often moved more dramatically than Bitcoin in the past. Over the last year, Bitcoin gained about 75%, while XRP surged 350%.

That’s nearly five times faster growth for XRP, showing it can quickly catch up or even outperform Bitcoin in bullish markets. This pattern suggests XRP could beat expectations if market conditions are right.
