The Oracle OpenWorld 2018 event will feature Hitachi Consulting Corporation, which will deliver a keynote address on “IoT, AI, and Blockchain Power Business Growth, Efficiency, and Productivity.” The event is set to take place between Oct. 22 and 25 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Hitachi’s keynote address will be delivered on Tuesday, Oct. 23, between 3:45 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater. The conference is announced for decision makers in business, IT management professionals, and end users.

Hitachi Consulting Corporation is a subsidiary of Hitachi Ltd. It is also an Oracle Platinum Cloud Elite Partner level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork. The keynote presentation by Hitachi will highlight business solutions that it has developed with Oracle that can help businesses in utilizing technology, improving core processes, and getting a higher return on investments.

The address will feature Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of Hitachi Beverly Rider, along with Vice President of Hitachi Consulting John Hallin. Oracle executives will also join the stage. Oracle Technology Vice President Viktor Sahakian, Senior Vice President of Applications Development Rick Jewell, Group Vice President Bhagat Nainai, and UI architect for blockchain and IoT Jasper Potts will be present during the address.

Hitachi’s representatives will be available during an executive solution session titled “Hitachi Social Innovation: Outcomes through Co-Creation with Customers and Oracle.” It will be attended by Senior Vice President at Hitachi Consulting Phil Townsend and Senior Vice President at Hitachi Global Solution Innovation Business Ellen Dowd.

Hicham Abdessamad, president and CEO of Hitachi Consulting, reiterated the company’s commitment to engage more with Oracle and work on initiatives that cater to the companies’ joint customers in the cloud transformation business. Abdessamad further said:
