XRP To Be Adopted By Mollie, A Leading E-Commerce Platform In Europe

Recently, it has been reveled that Mollie, one of the leading e-commerce platforms in Europe might adopt XRP, the second largest cryptocurrency in the world. The news came up after a user asked the creator of XRP TipBot, Wietse Wind on Twitter, “I see that Mollie Payments Bitcoin accepts from their customers. Can you motivate them to implement XRP? Thx in advance.”

Wind soon responded designating Mollie to comprehend if it’s likely.

Mollie helps companies big and small to find the right payment solutions for them. Currently, the platform has Bitcoin as one of the payment solutions but has indicated that XRP might be used in future as well.

One of Wind’s followers wrote on Twitter:

“There is really no way to get more e-commerce exposure in The Netherlands than to have them (Mollie) add XRP. And the best thing is that they don’t need another partner for XRP-EUR conversion, because the On-Ledger Decentralized Exchange can handle it.”

Although that is the perspective of only the Netherlands. It is one of the largest networks in Europe.

Notably, Wietse Wind is one of the biggest evangelists of XRP adoption who also created the popular application known as XRP TipBot. It is a micropayments service helping the community members to tip their friends, family, artists, favorite websites, and even services. In response to Mollie’s tweet, he wrote that it would be “super” if it happens.

XRP has been one of the most adopted crypto. It has recently been listed on Singapore based exchange KuCoin. The XRP community has also been asking other exchanges such as Binance to start using XRP as a base currency for its platform. However, the decision was not yet taken.
