Berlin Has Been Named by Joseph Lubin as the Most Important City When It Comes to the Blockchain Cosmos

The co-founder of the Ethereum technology Joseph Lubin has referred to Berlin as a significant city for the blockchain technology cosmos; this is according to a report on 25th July by Coin-telegraph auf Deutsch. Lubin went ahead to say that Berlin has the needed infrastructure, talent and not forgetting the excellent programmers in the market.

Thus, if the country was looking to maintain its status within the blockchain technology hub, then the government would need to invest more. Like having more programs set up within the country that promote the blockchain technology. Lubin further believes that the blockchain technology is still in its infancy so there is still a lot that can be done.

The co-founder, who has decided to focus his strengths in the development of an app that can be used on the Ethereum blockchain technology with his company ConsenSys. He says there have been lots of bubbles that have busted in the market and this will also happen in the blockchain technology when the bitcoin was at $30 it was considered as a bubble, and the same thing happened at $200 and $20,000.

He might be a little less interested with the cryptocurrencies, but according to Lubin the hype that has been surrounding the Bitcoin has been anything but bad. The reason being the technology advancement is able to make more money in the growing market and still drive the current technology forward. But his primary concern is the development of the next stage on the internet in which he has referred to it as web 3.0.

According to him the old type of web has been incorporated with too many mistakes like people do not have actual control of their data, these companies are able to capitalize on the user data. Additionally, no system has been set up that is able to settle cross-border payments. Accordingly, it as a market we would need to slowly move away from the silos, from the different companies that mainly collect data and make some extra money and people who need to have all this back in their hands.

In an interview that was conducted by Coin-telegraph Lubin mentioned that at the time that Vitalik Buterin was coming up with a proper description that could be used on the Ethereum platform, it was considered to be among the most elegant and also the most powerful description you could find in any blockchain platform at the time.

He also added that the Ethereum technology was able to enable billions of software engineers not to worry too much on the protocol layer; thus, this enabled the developers to go ahead and build with the tools they have been used to creating with. It is when they are developing the various mobile and web applications, so they are able to identify their own problems on the different platforms and identify the appropriate solutions that could be used.
