Enjin Smart Wallet Introduces Support for ERC-1155 and ERC-1721 Tokens

Since its emergence back in late June 2017, Enjin Smart Wallet has attracted attention to the gaming industry with their standard token operating for a variety of blockchain applications, with its core focus on the in-game economy. For those who are not aware, Enjin Smart Wallet encompasses some of the most advanced cryptocurrency wallet security majorly due to its unique features such as an intuitive UI, fingerprint login, and address management. To add to that, the wallet also relies on advanced security measures such as the RAM encryption technology, NSA-grade AES-256 encryption, and more.

With the goal to produce friction less gaming asset management, Enjin recently developed a significant update to the smart wallet to enable developers to create ERC-1155 tokens with the suite of tools. The announcement does create a sizable buzz judging the token standard offers a multitude of features such as flexibility and the minting of fungible and non-fungible tokens. Each token created would be imbued with an amount of Enjin, locked up within it. The attachment would allow the holders to melt down their tokens and get the attached ENJ token value available.

The token standard is said to be efficient than its ERC-721 and ERC-20 counterparts with the holders able to initiate bundle transactions of almost 200 tokens each time. The Enjin development further adds the notion that companies can produce unique tokens and get to buy freely, sell, trade, hold them or give them. Co-founder and CTO of Enjin Witek Radomski explains further,

“The ability to send or melt ERC-1155 tokens into ENJ is a major step into the adoption of Enjin as a first cryptocurrency wallet. The feature will not only allow the early adopters to swap tokens with one another but also help crypto developers to build unique blockchain-based assets.”

Already the collectable update of Enjin Wallet supports several in-game economies in CryptoKitties, Gods Unchained and War of Crypto. And hot on the heels of ERC-1155 token development is the growing adoption of Enjin in the gaming scene. Enjin's recent update showcases the rich data and imagery that comes with the ERC-721 and ERC-1155 tokens within games.

In a recent twitter post, Enjin announces additional ERC-721 support for two new games through their development team. One of the games, Blockchain Cuties, features a collectable crypto game theme consisting of mystical creatures, roll-the-dice battles among other. Axie Infinity is also set to improvise Enjin wallet to allow for the purchasing of the in-game assets. The game features players breeding creatures, earning and trading their game units (Axies) within the robust battle ecosystem. Users would be able to pit their Axies, win trophies and store their collectable/rewards in the crypto vault- the Enjin wallet.

Already Enjin Wallet is experiencing massive support, and this is evident with the adoption growing to encompass at least seven games using the ERC-1155 standard and now the ERC-721. And with these developments, the Enjin Smart Wallets seems to be cementing their position within the cryptocurrency gaming sphere.
