Just a few weeks ago, Cryptonomic, a company that works for decentralization and digital sovereignty, announced two developer tools called Conseil and ConseilJS. The intention is to make blockchain development easy. Now, the firm is introducing Arronax, an analysis-oriented block explorer. The information was released by Cryptonomic in a recent blog post.

This new block explorer is different from conventional ones because it provides more information about transactions and the whole blockchain. Conventional block explorers only show the details of a single transaction, account or block.

Arronax will be providing users with the possibility to see the top ten delegates by their staking balance, the payouts greater than 100 xtz from Account A and the origination operations between blocks X and Y where the delegate was Baker B.

This would not have been possible without launching Coinseil, which collects the operation and metadata of a blockchain to a database and allows users to query it. About the design, the blog post reads as follows:

“It is important for designers to be involved in your brainstorming sessions because their actual superpower is not to create beautiful designs but to solve problems. Cryptonomic’s principal designer, Polina Soshkina, further validated this idea when she went on overdrive and came up with this crazy idea of creating a typehead query builder.”

Clearly, the new version of Arronax will require a whole lot of user testing before it is possible to implement it and this is why the team is currently working on prototyping the idea and plan.

The company will be starting with the interface and roll it out as they conclude the testings on the second stage.

Users will be able to use the alpha version of Arronaz in the near future. This explorer will allow developers debugging their applications and it will also help daily users that want to have clear information about the network.
