An Ethereum Art Collection dubbed “CryptoArte” is supposedly in the process launching sometime this week. The artist responsible for this form of art goes by the name of Sebastian Brocher, who combined his appetite for technology and art to make this entire collection come to life.

Reported first by BCFocus, Brocher shared a lot of insight as to what CryptoArte stands for along with the different impacts it may have. It has been disclosed that the art project is a combination of several factors and would have been nothing independently.

In particular, it is,

“a multi-disciplinary project that blends together the Ethereum Network, an art collection, a non-fungible token and a decentralized application.”

While art might appear to be the center of attention in this collection, Brocher believes that his efforts will also positively contribute to the growth of the Ethereum community, while ensuring that each and every individual has the opportunity to educate themselves on every inch of detail regarding the blockchain technology altogether.

The main pillars of Brocher’s project is the Ethereum Art Collection itself as well as the non-fungible token.

As for the CryptoArte, BCFocus shared that it will house 9,895 painting each representing some aspect of blockchain. For instance, a painting will consist of 576 Ethereum blocks, which are individualized based on inimitable shapes, sizes, hues, depth and more.

While every painting is said to house 576 blocks, represented in an 18 by 22 division, it has been stated that each piece depicts a different story. Some of the other factors that have gone into each artwork include block numbers, timestamps, nodes, block miners, transparency and hidden mathematical drills to create connections between users and art.

It has also been announced that a fraction of the artwork will be sold through OpenSea, a P2P marketplace created for exchanging collectibles.

CryptoArte has also been proclaimed as a non-fungible token (NFT), which is an effort to bring exclusivity to every painting by eliminating the notion of interchangeability.  That is, each painting will have its own token that represents its own “SHA-256 hash storage” onto the blockchain.

Based on what BCFocus shared, painting owners will eventually have access to “full resolution images of their work”, without having to pay for it. How is this possible? According to the claims made, it is as simple as signing a transaction and getting it validated on the account that houses the painting’s respective unique token.

This is a relatively new mash up between blockchain technology and artwork sales, and if it succeeds, it can bring a positive impact on securing the uniqueness of the painting, while allowing artists around the world to get hold a piece of work effortlessly. Not to forget, a painter’s ability to have a memory of the work he or she has created.
