CoinCola Lists Ripple’s XRP As A New Asset For Its Over The Counter (OTC) Market

A prominent over the counter (OTC) crypto market and exchange called CoinCola has recently listed Ripple’s XRP on its OTC markets. The company has shared the news via a tweet, in which it affirmed that XRP would be its 7th token listed on the platform.

The main reason behind this decision was a “surge” in the trading volume of the token, as affirmed by AMBCrypto. This surge has made the demand for the tokens be higher and then the company decided to list it, as the asset is surpassing Ethereum (ETH) on its market cap and becoming the second largest crypto in the world.

XRP is operated by a private company called Ripple Net, and it has been very resilient lately. While the whole market has seen its value dropping over 18% in November, Ripple was only scratched and it lost 3.2% only. Now, being worth over $15 billion USD while ETH is dipping to $12 million USD, the token is solidifying its place as the second largest token in the market today.

AMBCrypto lists as the reasons for the price of XRP being so “high” that the market is autocorrecting because of all the hype of 2017 and that Ripple offers a real solution for the users. Whether Ripple’s XRP is so good or not, the truth is that it is huge and it is faring better than Ethereum, which granted its spot in the list.

As XRP is being used in some banking institutions for a fast cross-border payment service and the company has developed its ecosystem in 2018, XRP is being able to retain some of its prices despite the market correction that is happening at the moment in the crypto industry.
