Crypto analyst Matthew Perry recently shared his views on whether Ripple (XRP) could hit $10 before the end of this year. Even though the crypto market has been slowing down and altcoins are not getting much attention, Perry still believes XRP has a chance to go much higher.
In a video on his YouTube channel, he explained why he thinks $5 to $10 is still possible. At the time of the video, XRP price was around $3.04, down from a recent high of $3.65. Some viewers had asked if XRP could reach $5 or even $10 soon. Perry said that’s still his personal target, especially if positive changes continue in the crypto space.
He also talked about how investors feel. He said believing in something means there’s still a little doubt. But when you know something, you’re sure about it. For him, XRP has a strong chance of climbing, even though nothing is guaranteed.
What Needs to Happen for XRP to Hit $10?According to Perry, for XRP to reach $10, Ripple would need to hit a market cap of about $600 billion. That may sound high, but he believes it’s not impossible. He pointed to a few things that could help push the price higher, such as crypto ETFs, more use by big institutions, and clear rules from regulators, especially with the Ripple vs SEC case.
He also asked Google’s AI assistant, Gemini, what it thinks. The AI said XRP is more likely to stay between $2.50 and $5.89 in 2025. It said reaching $10 this year is unlikely but could happen later, maybe by 2030, if the market grows much bigger.
Several things could affect the XRP price. The SEC lawsuit is still a big factor. So is how much people actually use XRP for real payments. Competition from other blockchains also matters. And like all crypto, XRP faces the ups and downs of a volatile market.
Perry’s Final Take on XRP’s FutureEven with all the risk, Matthew Perry still thinks XRP can hit $10 before the year ends. He said his opinion comes from research and watching the market closely, not from wishful thinking. He plans to take profits at different levels, whether XRP hits $5, $7.50, or $10.

He also said that XRP doesn’t need to be bigger than Bitcoin to hit $10. A $600 billion market cap could be enough, and that’s not out of reach if adoption grows.
