Earlier this week, Tron (TRX) project received a major boost when two of its popular Indian cryptocurrency exchanges of Koinex and Wirex announced that they will be coming in to support the upcoming BitTorrent (BTT) airdrop.

As with WazirX, The date was made public via twitter and it also acknowledged that the exact airdrop dates is still not known. The tweet was made on January 10th proceeded to make public the following:

“We do have some great news for you, tribe! There are high chances that you have learnt about the upcoming Tron holders and the BitTorrent (BTT) token sale will receive BTT tokens in the airdrop. In case that takes place, we will be glad to support the #airdrop and we will credit the same to the $TRX through WazirX. ”

Koinex exchange will also make support the future airdrop by tweeting:

“Tron users, this is meant for you! We will be supporting the upcoming Bit torrent [BTT] airdrop. The Tron handlers will receive BTT tokens in airdrop while a similar one will also get added to their respective koin wallets. Ensure you stay tuned for more great and exciting details.”

Since the exact date of the airdrop is still not known, the BitTorrent team has issued its investors with warning not to fall for scammers. They made the announcement via their new BitTorrent Telegram Chat which pinned the messaged stated above.

Binance has not yet issued any official statement on whether it will be supporting the airdrop. However, Changpeng Zhao, its CEO, has suggested that it will be natural for the exchange to also support it.

Zhao made the revelation when he was replying to a tweet that was asking him if Binance exchange will be supporting the future BTT airdrop. Here is his tweet.

“Yes, we will be supporting it. That is not a difficult answer. It is just that I do not have the time to check all my @ messages despite the time I spend on Twitter. ”

On Tron blockchain, the TRC10 token will be the token. It is meant to spearhead the economy of sharing file on BitTorrent. BTT is going to be a general purpose method for transacting in the computer resources on BitTorrent network. It will be good for one to allow low value transactions and still be in a position to operate.
